'In Echoes' is the debut effort from London newcomers Pelicandy. The new four-piece, born out of one long-standing school friendship between lead-singer TC and drummer Nicholas, are creating an incredibly infectious brand of 80s-infused, indie-psych-pop that will peak interest from fans of Empire of the Sun and Foster the People to rising Aussies Methyl Ethel. TC's wonderfully characteristic vocal paints the catching, euphoric yet gently melancholic picture above a funky, overdriven bass line and pop-powered drums.
